![]() ![]() In some games borderless fullscreen mode reduces or eliminates microstuttering when the framerate drops below 60FPS but in some others it actually introduces microstuttering. I do, of course have to use vsync to avoid screentearing in true fullscreen mode. I have an MSI GTX 760 Gaming 2GB and since I had it I never had screen tearing + an open framerate with games which have borderless fullscreen - no vsync or additional tweaks needed. I just keep all my drivers up to date at any time. My system is still vanilla in terms of general drivertweaks (only game specific)- no crapware on it whatsoever. Wait for busy render is one way to skip this, but another one (don't know if it still work) is to modify number of maximal prerendered frames in driver control panel (3 is default, waitforbusyrender=true means 0).ĮNBSeries wrote:No screen tearing in windowed mode just means driver or crapware specific setting, artifacts are always the same for window and full screen mode for untouched system. Mouse and image lagging happen when videodriver is busy with very long processing, ssao effect for example. "Normal" behavior of skyrim mouse is very slow movement by vertical axis if frame rate is low (let say less than 10 fps) and very fast moving by vertical axis if frame rate is 100+ fps. ![]() Make sure game process priority is normal or try below normal and assign one less core than you physically have. Make sure that there is no issues with irq in the system. Any mouse specific drivers must be uninstalled. Don't know how about SLI, it may produce this issue also (if you have it of course). Restore skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini and don't touch it, do never run crapware which monitor your videocard, overclock, etc. If you have issues with the mouse while vsync enabled, it's even worse case than i thought. No screen tearing in windowed mode just means driver or crapware specific setting, artifacts are always the same for window and full screen mode for untouched system. Or at least it would be nice to restore "things" which are related to those issues back to how they worked with v0.262. I hope that this might be an indicator for the dev of how to get the input lag and framerate under control in the next version(s) without having to activate the performance heavy WaitBusyRenderer option which has just too much of an FPS imact on my system. Also the game feels more stuttery despite getting the same framerate and having the Nvidia inspector FPS limiter on. With v0.265 I get the same clunky movement as with normal fullscreen and vsync on in v0.262. So this is as good as it gets considering that I constantly drop below 60FPS (usually varying around 30-50FPS) with my ENB+RCRN setup.īut what works totally fine with v0.262 doesn't work with v0.265 anymore despite using the same enblocal.ini and enbseries.ini. Oh, and I also have to deactivate my second monitor or else it's choppy mouse again. Also, please note that WaitBusyRenderer is set to false and I still have no mouse issues as long as I combine that with ForceBorderlessFullscreen=true and EnableVSync=false. To get rid of any microstuttering I set the FPS limiter from the NVidia inspector to 58FPS - the ENB FPSlimiter doesn't work for that.
